Intervening early in the trajectory of suicide risk is really important to preventing suicide. Young people often seek help and express thoughts, feelings and behaviours about suicide online.  This World Mental Health Day the official theme is suicide prevention, so we developed a new video and infographic on early intervention and suicide featuring the evidenced-based #chatsafe guidelines, to encourage safe discussion about suicide and suicide prevention online and practical assistance to anyone supporting young people engaged in online activity.

We are also pleased to provide this video with subtitles in three addtional languages, Spanish, Portuguese and French, these versions of the video can be accessed on our YouTube Channel
