The International Association for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Allied Professions (IACAPAP) and the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) at the Child Mind Institute have been developing a free, multilingual mental health assessment tool for children and adolescents. This tool covers 30 key mental health domains and has been shaped by over 300 international experts and 12 linguists to ensure cultural relevance.
We're now introducing a new module on factors influencing youth mental health, emphasizing a public health perspective and focusing on measurable, modifiable factors identified through expert workshops.
We invite your expertise to review this new module, ensuring it's comprehensive, relevant, and culturally appropriate across diverse populations and settings. Your feedback is crucial for developing a practical, meaningful tool. Based on collective input, we'll revise items and conduct further validation studies. The complete assessment tool, including this new module, will be freely available globally in English and multiple other languages. Your contribution will significantly impact youth mental health assessment worldwide.
