International Early intervention and prevention in mental health association


Feten Fekih-Romdhan

Dr. Feten Fekih-Romdhane is a Professor (Associate) of Psychiatry at Razi University Hospital, Tunisia; and a researcher involved in research projects with the Research Unit “Early Intervention in Psychosis” in the University of Tunis El Manar, Tunis, Tunisia. She obtained her Medical Doctorate in 2014 and her PhD degree in 2018. She holds Masters Degrees in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (2018) and in Cognitive Remediation (2019). She also has a Certificate in Leadership and Management in Health from the University of Washington (2017).

Her main fields of expertise are psychotic disorders, early intervention in psychosis, and stigma. She is supervisor and coordinator of the early intervention in psychosis project in the Tunisian Center of Early Intervention in Psychosis (TCEIP), Razi Hospital, Manouba, Tunisia. She has been Member of the Student Support Committee in the Faculty of Medicine of Tunis since 2018; and Member of the Mental Health Promotion & Prevention Committee in the Tunisian Ministry of health since 2021.

She is a founder and Secretary-General of the “Tunisian Association of Mental Health Promotion & Prevention for Youth”, which is the first non-profit organization dedicated to promoting youth mental health in the community in Tunisia. She is currently Member of the Schizophrenia International Research Society (SIRS) and the International Early Intervention and Prevention in Mental Health Association (IEPA). Dr. Feten Fekih-Romdhane has led several large-scale multi-national research projects, and has authored 200+ articles published in peer reviewed International Journals. She has been a regular speaker in national and international conferences since 2011. She speaks three languages: Arabic, English and French.
