Pablo Gaspar, M.D. PhD
Pablo is of indigenous descent, of the Aymaran people, an indigenous group from the Andes and highlands of South America. He obtained a M.D. PhD degree and specialization in adult Psychiatry from two of the most prestigious universities in Chile. He was also fortunate to continue his Post-Doctoral training at the Nathan Kline Institute for Psychiatry Research and Columbia University. Nowadays, Pablo is the head of the Psychosis Unit of the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Chile. He has been granted numerous awards by various prestigious institutions, such as “Red America’s Career Development Awards” by the NIH Project Executive Commission, Columbia University.
Pablo also acts as an associate researcher of the renowned research center, “millennium nucleus to improve mental health in adolescents and youths (IMHAY)” and adjunct researcher in one of the largest institutes of Neuroscience Research in Latin America “the Biomedical Neuroscience Institute (BNI)”.
He have extensive and ample experience as a Clinical Psychiatrist and is a well-recognized expert in the field in Chile.
