June Brown

June Brown is an associate professor in Clinical Psychology at King’s College London. Her major research interest is in developing and evaluating accessible and effective interventions for people with depression and anxiety

June’s work  has  been influential in the United Kingdom Improving Access to Psychological Treatments (IAPT) service including a self-referral route into the service along the GP referral route in order to engage more Black and ethnic minority patients.

She is a member of the latest UK NICE Guidelines Committee for depression and developing recommendations for the use of evidence-based treatments in the UK.
