IAYMH2022 Conference – REIMAGINING | Youth Mental Health
Copenhagen, Denmark
29 September – 1 October 2022

CLOSING DATE for abstract submissions extended to Friday 1 April 2022 at 11:59pm UTC (check your local time here)

We’re thrilled to open the call for abstracts for the 2022 IAYMH Conference. The uniqueness of IAYMH conferences comes from the diversity of voices that we hear at our event.  We strongly encourage all sectors of the youth mental health community to consider submitting an abstract to present in Copenhagen, whether you are a seasoned academic researcher, a clinician from a youth service or a young person advocating for change on the ground in your local school or university. We want diverse voices and ideas from all over the globe to come together in Copenhagen to REIMAGINE | Youth Mental Health.

For further information, including submission guidelines, please visit the conference website or create an account in our Abstract Management system where you can find out more about the presentation formats (oral, lightning, table tops and posters).

We realise the closing date is not very far away. We have been delayed in making this announcement by the wave of the omicron COVID-19 variant that has been sweeping across the world in recent months. We appreciate your understanding in needing to offer a shorter time frame in which to submit your abstracts but we hope that you are all ready and waiting for this!

Please remember to look out for and share posts across our social media channels over the coming weeks as we promote abstract submissions.

We strongly encourage submissions from across the youth mental health community and would like to hear from you if you:

  • are a researcher or peer researcher in youth mental health – tell us all about your research!
  • work in a youth mental health organisation or in a role where your work is focussed on the mental health of young people – we’d love to hear about your service and any innovative elements that should be shared!
  • are a young person who is engaged in the youth mental health community and would like to present about an element of the work or organisation you are involved in.

We support and welcome submissions to be co-presented with a young person from your project, initiative or organisation.
